Course Objective

The purpose of this course is to provide the learning of the usage and application methods, structure, operation principles of the microscope.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Able to explain and to use different types of light microscopes
2   To define the dark-field microscope
3   Justify and use phase contrast microscope
4   Justify and use fluorescent microscope
5   To define the confocal microscope
6   To define the atomic force microscope
7   To define the working principles of electron microscope
8   Able to make presentations according to the related topics.
