Course Objective

The aim of this course is to analyze the international resources reflecting current issues, problems and solution suggestions in social studies education in a comparative manner and to develop solution suggestions for these problems in project format.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   1. To be aware of research trends in international literature in the field of social studies education
2   2. To have knowledge about problems and solution suggestions in social studies education in the world
3   3. To be able to analyze the relevant academic sources comparatively
4   4. Getting the skills to develop a sample project proposal for the identified problem and its solution.
5   5. Getting the skills to present the study in oral and written form in accordance with the rules of scientific research
