Course Objective

The aim of this course is to introduce the concept of mathematical modelling in mathematics education, to teach mathematical modelling applications, and to examine the working areas of mathematical modelling in academic studies.

2   Examine mathematical modelling applications in mathematics education field
3   Compare national and international studies in the field of mathematical modelling in mathematics education

6 Identify similarities and differences of mathematical modelling studies in national and international fields

8 Examine studies regarding teacher education in the field of mathematical modelling
