Course Objective

The comprehension of value concept and aesthetic value concept in artwork analysis.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Knowing what human, value and the concept of value is.
2   Knowing value in philosophy and aesthetic values.
3   Knowing the concept of beauty and aesthetic comprehension besides beauty.
4   Knowing value in art, formal and artistic values.
5   Knowing artwork as an entity and art as a creative activity.
6   Knowing artwork as a creation and different methods in evaluating artwork.
7   Knowing what examining - criticism and interpretation is.
8   Knowing the view of formal understanding to art and artwork, formal analysis and can analyze artwork.
