Course Objective

Understanding emotional control, conflict and relationship management, developing skills, resolving conflicts in family relationships, understanding mediation and negotiation processes, and applying conflict resolution, negotiation and mediation with the individual, group, family within individual, group, family counseling

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Understanding the nature of conflicts
2   Understanding the mediation and negotiation process
3   Understanding mediation and negotiation skills and transferring them to psychological counseling processes
4   Application of mediation and negotiation skills in family relations and family counseling
5   Ability to transfer emotion control, conflict and relationship management to individual and group counseling
6   To be able to develop ethical practices that are compatible with Turkish culture
