Course Objective

Providing future managers with specialist level of knowledge, ethical awareness , competency, skills which are needed in logistics and maritime transportation sector and making sure that students will have the habit of following and analyzing the developments in the sector.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Student must gain knowledge about the international trade and international logistics interaction and this interaction s effects on logistics and should be able to develop effective strategies and evaluate the outcomes.
2   Student must learn the documents used in logistics and maritime sector and should have the ability to create solutions for the possible problems.
3   Student must have the ability to choose the most proper method in international transport and should manage the choice in an effective way.
4   Sudent must develop the ability of integrating maritime transportation into supply chain management and production management systems in an effective way.
5   Student must evaluate the relation between actors in maritime transportation in terms of responsibilities and privileges to come up with positive and effective findings.
