Course Objective

To teach Ottoman palaeography and to enable the students to read Ottoman texts

1   Learns the definition of Palaeography 2   Gets knowledge about writing types in Ottoman period 3   Gets skills of comparing and reading the types of Ottoman writing 4   Can define the terms and concepts of archive discipline 5   Comprehends development of the writing types
