Course Objective

To give students to develop the ability to understand and interpret the relationships between social events and social behaviours in the contemporary societies by teaching the terminology and methodology of Social Psychology of religion.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Gains ability to analyze and interpret individual and social events by learning the terminology of sociology and sociology of religion
2   Learns the birth of the Social Psychology of religion, development and relationship to other disciplines
3   Learns the sociology of religiosity
4   Gains ability to analyze the topics as perceptual aspects of Muslim identity
5   Gains ability to analyse religiosity and atheism in psychoanalytic perspective
6   Gains ability to research the individual and social function of religion in the modern society
