Course Objective

To help students in understanding social essences of religious education and help them advancing their discussion abilities on some problems of social religious education.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   They will know social essences as one of the main essences of education and religious education.
2   They will able to explain the connection between social essences of religious education and social dimensions of other sciences.
3   They will be able to explain social essences of religious education with main terms of education.
4   They will be aware of the possibility in co-operation between education and religious education in creating social values and practicing the education.
5   They will fully understand the terms education and religious education.

2 The essences of education and religious education.
3 Social institutions of religious education.
4 Family, School, Mosque, Quran Courses and social dimensions of these institutions.
5 Religious groups as a social fact and their reflections on religious education.
6 Religious education society relation.
7 The contributions of religious education in socialization and religious socialization.
8 Midterm Exam
9 Culture and culturization as a period of education.
10 The contributions of religious education in social process'.
11 The contributions of religious education in solving social issues.
12 The contribution of religious education in social morality.
13 Religious education and value relation.
14 Religious education and its place in social politics.
