Course Objective

Working on the Prophet's Sunnah by means of sample hadith texts and their annotates selected from Hadith literature concerning classical period and the modern era.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Reminding Hadith reading and teaching methods and decencies must be followed.
2   Reading Arabic texts elected from Hadith literature (mainly the six books) with their commentaries.
3   Studiyng on articles written on methodology of Hadith that have been written in Turkish, Arabic and English.
4   Memorizing at least forty hadiths concerning islamic jurisprudence and morality and faith.

The exams are in written form (classical or testing); assignment (homework) is in the form of verbal lecture.

Assessment Criteria

Written exams (midterm and final) and the marks obtained over 100 in the semester are collected by calculating on certain percentages.
