Course Objective

to make sure that the advisor transfers knowledge and experiences in his field to the students of German Translation and Interpreting Master program at the thesis-writing stage and that the students acquire scientific ethics and work discipline, the literature in the field and the skills to follow, evaluate and discuss new developments

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Being able to interpret, develop and use the information acquired in the field of Translation and Interpreting and on their thesis
2   Being able to need information and find the information needed
3   Being able to synthesize the data collected, to analyze, to interpret and assess them
4   Being able to consider scientific and ethical values while collecting, assessing and publishing data related to the thesis.
5   Being able to find, develop and apply methods to solve a problem regarding the thesis and assess the results.
6   Being able to solve problems encountered in the practical work regarding the thesis using research methods, developing new approaches and taking responsibility.
7   Being able to transfer those results to the groups both in the field of the Translation and Interpreting and outside of the field systematically in written, oral and visual forms
