Course Objective

The aim of this course to provide assessment of economic concepts and institutions of contemporary sociological context and within the framework of the social wholeness in links between sociology and economics and on the basis of the need for inter-disciplinary perspective.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   To be able to understand the basic philosophy of the development of economic sociology and related sociologists and economists' views.
2   To be able to understand and analyze the contemporary economic sociologys concepts and institutions and also the basic of views.
3   To be able to understand philosophical foundation of economics development with the point of view inter-disciplinary.
4   To be able to understand mechanism and configuration of social networks in the knowledge society and knowledge economy.
5   To be able to understand and analyze sociological foundations of today's globalization process.
