Course Objective

Acknowledgement and learning advanced difficulty level musical works by studying; increase knowledge of the student by conducting research in the area of study and training methods regarding his/her field. To train artist for State Symphony Orchestras, State Opera and Ballet and to enhance necessary technical level and musical representation in order to train academic staff for education institutions. To increase repertoire by investigating Baroque, Classic, Romantic, Modern Period works, giving recitals and concerts in order to prepare for performing before the public.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   To comprehend advanced musical work s technical and interpretational viewpoint in playing Tuba within instruments repertoire.
2   To examine and analyze works within Tuba repertoire in terms of polyphony, adaptive configuration, melodic and formal structure.
3   Taking part and responsibility on stage individually, within chamber music and group concerts and projects.
4   To research and examine the internet to analyze the leading expositor artists of the musical works that the student will perform in terms of visual and audial records, national and international books on expositions and analysis of those artists, masters and proficiency in art thesis on the subject.
5   To plan and suggest artistic activities regarding Musical Art Major within both national and international platforms.
