Course Objective

is to get the post-graduate students of the Painting Department to gather up to date information about topics relating to their profession, to synthesize the gathered information in the form of a report to be presented and to discuss it.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   to be able to perform a detailed literature search about the recent developments in the field of painting profession and about topics related to their own work.
2   to be able to synthesize the accumulated knowledge, to be able to analyze it with the support of quantitive and qualitative data, to be able interpret and evaluate it.
3   to be able to bring the achieved results together in the form of a scientific report.
4   to be able to transfer the obtained results to groups within and outside the TKY department in written, verbal or visual form in a systematic way.

The students increase/develop their knowledge, skills and proficiency about the matters that should be taken into consideration in order to make a successful presentation.

Assessment Criteria

The students' abilities concerning making a literature study about their chosen themes, data collection, analysis and the presentation of the results in the form of a report, are evaluated by the report itself they complete at the end of the term and the presentation thereof.
