Course Objective

The aim of this course is to give students Matlab® programming skills for technical computing.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   In this course students should be able to learn MATLAB platform.
2   Learn how to manage with arrays in MATLAB.
3   Be able to create function files, plots and script files.
4   Learn how to program in MATLAB by using relational and logical operators.
5   Be able to use MATLAB in order to solve problems that includes polynomials, curve fitting and interpolation.

The course is taught in a lecture, class presentation and application format. All class members are expected to attend and both the lecture and seminar hours and take part in the application sessions.
