Course Objective

The aim of this course is to introduce the properties of and processing techniques of different types of nanostructured materials. Nanomaterials have a broad prospect in different application fields due to their special structure and function. The course will also provide information about applications of nano functional materials in different fields.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   To have knowledge on nanomaterials properties
2   Learn classification of nanostructured materials
3   Understand the synthesis-structure-properties relationships of nanostructured materials
4   To have knowledge on functional aspects of nanostructured materials
5   Learn processing techniques of nanostructured materials
6   Learn application fields of nanostructured materials
