Course Objective

Turkey is located within the 1st earthquake belt. The most important casualties in earthquakes occur after unconscious acts on people. The main objective of the course is to raise acknowledged students about rescue in earthquake, fire extinguishment, entering the wreckage and gas struggling. Besides, with the help of first aid education, rescue service may be provided in extraordinary phenomena. Thus, the university students will be trained on rescue and work safety.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Graduates from different disciplines, seismic hazard analysis and earthquake sciences be equipped with theoretical and practical knowledge in the fields concerned.
2   Supports interdisciplinary research in this area, can promote to have the capacity,
3   Theoretical and practical areas of earthquake risk in the face of three coordination and planning able, solutions and applications to manage the skilled person to produce,
4   Having the ability to contribute to the spread of four earthquake awareness in society,
5   Scientific studies that can minimize the impact of a possible earthquake relevant organizations to share information and to have this work,
