Course Objective

Gas accumulations or gas hydrates under the sea floor compose characteristic anomaly zones on seismic data. Applying complex trace attributes and amplitude-offset variations give details about these formations. This course includes determination of gassy sediments and gas hydrates using seismic attributes which observed single-channel and multichannel seismic reflection data and AVO analysis. All analysis methods are discussed theoretically and then severally methods are on trial directly applications on the computer with using Promax software.
