Course Objective

The purpose of this course is to give theoretical knowledge about Thermal structure and mechanical anc chemical properties of plastic materials , Plastic materials production methods and Points to be considered in product design of plastic material .In this course, importance of these topics in industry are also taught by giving examples.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Teaching of important physical and mechanical properties of plastics. 2   Teaching of elastomers and their properties. 3   Teaching of plastic materials production methods. 4   Teaching of polimerisation and it s importance. 5   Teaching of application areas of plastic materials.
