Course Objective

The course aims to provide advanced level of knowledge on hybrid drive vehicles by focusing on the fundamental components, dynamics and applications in detail. Theoretical and practical understanding of design techniques will be thoroughly investigated.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   This course is expected to give detailed information on hybrid drive vehicles concept which is increasingly appreciated in recent years and regarded as an environment friendly technology.
2   To advance students' awareness on design techniques to a higher level and to make them eligible for top to bottom design by introducing them real life cases.
3   To develop students' analytical abilities on hybrid drive motor system analysis and its components
4   Students will be able to analyze and define vehicle dynamic and optimum operating parameters by type of vehicle used.
5   At the end of the module, the learner will be expected to determine and formula drive systems of a hybrid vehicle that designed.
