Course Objective

In this course,energy methods, variation applications of the elastic structural elements, the structural behavior of helical and right-axis bars will be investigated and the calculation principles of second order theoery,the static and dynamic stability of high industrial chimneys.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   To give information about structural behavior the elastic structural elements.
2   To apply the variation principles to the elastic structural elements.
3   To rebuilt and analyze the model of the recent studies in the literature.
4   To explain the structural behavior of structural elemsnts by using examples.
5   To define the work principles and second order theory of bars.

3 Shear and bending, shear and torsion, member with elastic supports.

5 To apply the minimal principles to right-axis bars.
