Course Objective

The aim of the course to give information on the estimation of future demands for movement; the design of a series of alternative transportation plans which accord with community aims and objectives and evaluation of alternative transportation plans, in both economic and social terms.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   To be able to compare the different transportation modes.
2   To be able to estimate the effects of passenger behaviors on mode choice
3   To be able to evaluate the trip distributions on transportation system
4   To be able to analyze the consequences of the regulations related to the travel demand and transport policies
5   To be able to generate report and present the findings about the transportation system
