Course Objective

In this course it is aimed to get students to comprehend principles of designing especially intersections and other highway facilities and to analyze their performances

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   To comprehend basic principles of traffic management.
2   To calculate performances of intersections and other highway facilities
3   To question the relation between driver, vehicle and road.
4   To design geometric elements of roads and intersections.
5   To investigate and analyze a highway arterial as a whole.
