Course Objective

The river basins with significant karst spring effluents represent special deterministic models especially during the recession period. Hence, the main purpose of this lecture is to introduce the karst hydrogeology and hydrology which karstic spring contribute significantly one third to streamflow in Turkey.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   To be able to collect, interpret, apply, and evaluate the data.
2   To be able to solve the problems by using appropriate research methods.
3   To be able to have a critical approach to the gained knowledge and skills at the level of his expertise field.
4   To be able to have a systematic way to export the current developments and his/her work to the groups in and out of the field as written, oral and visual communication effectively.
5   To be able to gain high-level skills in using research methods.
