Course Objective |
The aim of the course is to explain the concept of Modern Architecture, which is one of the new problems of the conservation field, through definition, scope, quality and legislation and to discuss conservation problems. For this purpose, the concept and historical process of Modern Architecture will be explained firstly, than the emergence of Modern Architectural Heritage notion and critics related with it in the conservation paradigm will be discussed. Conservation issues of Modern Architectural Heritage will be discussed at national and international levels through legal legislation, social acceptance and practice. |
