Course Objective

UNESCO Member States adopted the World Heritage Convention in 1972. According to the Convention, world heritages are assets that have "exceptional universal value" and are therefore worthy of special protection against the threats that threaten them. The aims of the course are the determination and preservation of the UNESCO world heritage areas. Examples world and Turkey will be discussed in the course.
