Course Objective |
Radar is one of the powerful sensing tools for earth science applications. Actively operating radar system can gather data in all weather conditions. The applications of radar remote sensing systems reach from digital elevation modeling to earth surface deformations. This course will deliver the principles of radar and applications like elevation model generation,land cover mapping etc. |

Planned Learning Activities and Teaching Methods |
Students will be given reading assignments a week in advance. Each week s lecture will begin with an introduction to the fundamentals of that week s content. Students will discuss the week s entire content with the lecturer s assistance in groups. Students will be assigned problems which they will solve individually and/or in group in laboratory environment. Students will write reports and present them orally. |
