Course Objective |
This course focuses on advanced raster modeling to topics related to planning and environmental management. The technical aspects of Raster applications will be explored along with considerations related to database development and spatial analysis. Students will gain hands-on experience with data input through scanners and digitizers, and with Raster analyses using both vector and raster data models. A significant part of the course will involve the development of a GIS database for analysis through group projects. |
