Course Objective |
Image processing is a broad subject encompassing studies of physics, geography, electrical engineering, computer science and mathemathics. Fundamentals of digital image acquisition, processing, segmentation and classification by a computer will be covered. Its applications in medicine, geography, industry, defence, microscopy and other fields will be discussed. Releated programs will be run on computer to visualize the results of several image process. |
