Course Objective

To enable the student to demonstrate that she/he can carry out an independent piece of research on a theme in marine sciences in a scientifically sound manner and to exhibit her/his ability to address a specific problem in a scientifically sound, ethical, thorough and precise manner in the course of a given period of time, and to help the student to communicate his or her findings credibly.

Students qualifications on literature survey on the topic, data collection using several methods, compilation, analysis and reporting are assessed by an oral thesis examination following their submission of their thesis.
