Course Objective |
To learn the protective textiles and related fiber types, chemical, thermal and flame, nuclear, radar, electromagnetic protecting and also wet finishing processes and test methods applicable for UV and antimicrobial textiles which are important for the human health. |

Planned Learning Activities and Teaching Methods |
In this course, previous researches in the related literature are discussed and class presentations are performed by the students. Laboratory practices for chemical processes are performed in accordance with theoretical lessons. The students will be responsible for homework presentaiton about designing a protective textile. |
