Course Objective

This course focuses on overview of principles and practices of TQM and new and well known tools and techniques in TQM, i.e. quality function deployment, experimental design, and taguchi design.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Expand their knowledge of Quality Management concepts and practices
2   Understand and apply the various tools and techniques of Quality Management.
3   Anticipate issues and problems they will face when implementing quality programs
4   Understand and apply the Quality Function Deployment
5   Understand and apply the Experimantal Design
