Course Objective

The purpose of this course is to give theoretical knowledge about Thermal structure and mechanical anc chemical properties of plastic materials , Plastic materials production methods and Points to be considered in product design of plastic material .In this course, importance of these topics in industry are also taught by giving examples.

1   Teaching of important physical and mechanical properties of plastics.
2   Teaching of elastomers and their properties.
3   Teaching of plastic materials production methods.
4   Teaching of polimerisation and it s importance.
5   Teaching of application areas of plastic materials.
