Course Objective

The aim of this course is to give the usage of VHDL.It is expected that students at the end of this course will be able to know a new alternative to increase the system performance using reconfigurable tools with FPGA.

1   Outline FPGA technologies
2   Become aware of the relevant issues surrounding FPGA technologyies' use in system design
3   Use FPGA design tools
4   Design several systems by using VHDL language on an FPGA device
5   Research related issues to the architecture, tools, and applications of programmable logic in different areas.
