Course Objective

This course aims to provide students an understanding of the design of tasks, equipment, systems, and work environments and method syudies from a physiological and psychological ergonomics perspective.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   To understand the contents of Human Factors Engineering
2   To understand the methods and tools for human centred design
3   To be able to explain and use basic knowledge in physical ergonomics, such as anatomy, anthropometry etc.
4   To be able to present how an ideal human-machine system should be design regarding, cognitive, physical and environmental factors
5   To be able to use appropriate methods for data collection, task analysis, posture analysis and interaction analysis of a human-machine system in a real study case
