Course Objective

DC /DC and AC/DC PWM power converters are widely used in the industry. In this course, different topologies are taught and their analysis is covered by the content. Predictive current controller is taught and analyzed on the converters. Modeling and design approaches of the converter circuits are given in detail.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   The digital predictive current controller is given to establish a background for application.
2   To give the students an approach for controlling power conversion at dc level.
3   Modelling of AC to DC converters
4   Modelling of DC to DC converters
5   Modelling of DC to AC converters
6   Application on PV System
