Course Objective

Nowadays, by the change of education approaches, educational spaces quality started to change. In this case, with this lesson, the criterias about school buildings relating with the the countries education systems will be learned and will be discussed comparatively with Turkey.

1   Understanding education and space relationship
2   To search and collect information about the educational space
3   To learn critically thinking about the educational space.
4   To analyse the examples about different educational spaces.
5   To evaluate the educational space with all of its dimension( site, environment, planning criterias, color, material usage etc )

1 Getting acquainted with everyone, to introduce the lesson, to talk about the main concepts of the lesson and education system.

Planned Learning Activities and Teaching Methods

Teacher will inform students about different educational spaces design criteria by the help of examples. Student will make presentations about their researches. Discussions will be done with all class.
