Course Objective

The objective of this course is to give the physical basics and principles of the medical devices available in the health sector.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   to be able to give the examples of the usage area of electromagnetic radiation in biomedical technology.
2   to be able to explain the physical principles and laws which form the basis of radiological imaging.
3   to be able to explain the related events in biomedical area by using the knowledge about optics.
4   to be able to explain the related events in biomedical area by using the knowledge about sound.
5   to be able to explain the related events in biomedical area by using the knowledge about radioactivity.
