Course Objective

To examine in detail the physiocracy and the classical school which are included in the mercantilist doctrine and the liberal doctrine, and to focus on the analysis of these doctrines and schools' capital accumulation.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Students will be able to make connections between ideology and economic thought
2   Students, institutional economics, Keynesian economics and socialist economic thoughts can learn and compare approaches to economics
3   Students will be able to explain the properties of mercantilism and physiocracy
4   Students will be able to list the characteristics of the teaching of classical system, liberal, Marxist, socialist, new classical and monetarist economics
