Course Objective

To examines the structure, organization and function of the air transportation sector by using economic methods.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Students will be able to learn the concepts and scope of the air transportation economy, its importance in the country and world economies
2   Students will learn general world politics about air transport economics
3   The students will be able to learn the principles and methods of price determination in air transportation economics
4   Students will be able to learn air transportation within the framework of transportation economy.
5   Students will have an idea about the historical development of air transportation policies and the current situation in the Turkish economy
