Course Objective

With this course, students gain proficiency in computer aided machine parts assembly diagram drawing.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   To design planes, circles, straight lines and writing
2   To create intersection views
3   To dimension technical drawings, draw surface texture symbols, define tolerance
4   To draw part manufacturing diagrams
5   To draw basic geometric shapes using computer aided design software

3 To use coordinate systems in technical drawings
4 To calculate the scale of the system
5 To create technical drawings, adding texts to drawings
6 To use editing commands

9 To change properties of drawing elements
10 To multiply drawing elements
11 To adjust dimensioning tool
12 To use dimensioning commands
13 To change dimension, add surface texture symbol, ad tolerance
14 To transfer data between two CAD software
