Course Objective

The aim of this course is to provide the students to learn and explain; the fundamental concepts of macroeconomics, the factors in national income equation, determinants of total demand and total supply, main macroeconomic problems, concept of money demand, money supply and foreign exchange market and the reasons and the way of using macroeconomic policies.

9 Main macroeconomic problems; economic growth, domestic and external debt
10 Main macroeconomic problems; inflation, unemployment, correlation of inflation and employment
11 The concept of money supply and money demand
12 Foreign exchange market and determination of foreign exchange rate
13 Concept of foreign trade and foreign exchange policies
14 Concept of monetary and fiscal policies
