Course Objective

The aim of this course is to introduce the basic concepts and institutions of Civil Law to the students. In this course, will be explained to the students the basic principles of the family law, the basic principles of property law and the basic principles of inheritance law.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Be able to be knowledgeable the basic information of the Civil Law about the provisions in the family law, in the property law and in the inheritance law.
2   Be able to interpret provisions in the family law, in the property law and in the inheritance law by using the information that are learned in the Information on Civil Law I.
3   Be able to offer their thoughts in this area by understanding the basic principles of private law system.
4   Be able to understand the functioning of the institutions that are implementing the provisions of the Civil Code.
5   Be able to deepen the notion of the common law.

4 The mutual rights of spouses and the mutual obligations of spouses-The representation of the marriage union-
5 The protection of the marriage union
6 Matrimonial property regime
7 The termination of marriage in general- The invalidity of marriage
8 The concept of divorce-The reasons of the divorce-The legal consequences of the divorce

10 The concept of paternity-The establishment of paternity, the provisions of the paternity.
11 The obligation to pay alimony - The rules of the house The concept of guardianship - The guardianship bodies - Circumstances requiring guardianship
