Course Objective

Teach to students professional skills and experience about the subjects in theoretical and practical lectures taken, throughout the day by practicing on site under the control of the workplace head and supervisor of training.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Able to use treatment devices and make patient's treatment setup.
2   Able to learn and use properties of the patient fixing systems in radiotherapy.
3   Able to use CT and conventional simulators and to plan the patient.
4   Able to use brachytherapy systems.
5   Able to do lead block, mask, bolus, etc required for treatment.
6   Able to use Radiotherapy Information System.

1 Applications at training place. (Patient treatment in linear accelerators)
2 Applications at training place. (Brachytherapy applications)
3 Applications at training place. (Lead mold and mask preparation)
4 Applications at training place. (CT or Conventional simulation processes)
5 Applications at training place. (Virtual simulation, contouring planning operations)
6 Applications at training place. (Network systems, quality control processes)

The intern can monitor the Internship Supervisor during the procedures and apply it under control.
