Course Objective |
The basic aim of this course is to investigate the relationship of architecture with the culture of clothing and fashion design from an interdisciplinary point of view. The course handles fashion globally through the context of the spirit of the times and through culture, economy, science, technology, architecture, art, literature, customs, and everyday practices. In addition to constructing the historical and theoretical framework of this relation, the course will examine fashion designs that redefine the relationship of body and space. On this premise, students will set out to cross the boundaries of their own discipline into fashion. |
