Planned Learning Activities and Teaching Methods

In addition to the theoretical lessons to be given by the instructors, students will be able to write short critical texts on the readings. Through Reflective Diary / Comparison Platform tools such as Padlet, it is aimed to share these critical texts with their other students and to have joint discussions. Reflective diary work, which aims to ensure active participation in the course and learn from each other, will be evaluated as students' performances during the term, depending on the number and originality of the critical texts written by the students.

It is a prerequisite to have taken and passed the MIM 3811 History of Modern Architecture course.

It is recommended to take the course MIM 2812 Architecture from Antiquity to the Industrial Revolution.

Not attending the class is not an excuse for late or non-submitted assignments and work.
