Course Objective

The aim of this course is giving detailed knowledge about statistical package programmes such as SPSS, Minitab and MsExcel statistical add-in to solve textile engineering problems related with descriptive statistics, probability, statistical inference, tests of hypothesis, ANOVA, regression and correlation and statictical process control (SPC).

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Using statistical package programmes (SPSS, Minitab, MsExcel statistics add-in).
2   Expressing experimental or observational data in statistical manner using package programmes.
3   Comparing different samples using statistical programmes.
4   Expressing the relationships between the variables using statistical package programmes.
5   Entegrating package programmes to statistical process control (SPC).
