Course Objective

To learn analyses of fibers, chemical agents, dyestuffs in textile and to learn fastness tests, to get information about standards on environmental concerns about textile.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   The qualitative and the quantitative analyses of chemical agents used in finishing processes.
2   The qualitative and the quantitative analyses of water used in finishing processes.
3   To learn the fabrication and usage fastness tests for the problems can ocur in production or usage period of textiles.
4   To learn the necessary qualitative and quantitative fiber analyses for identification of textile materials and dyestuff analyses
5   To learn standards about environmental impact of textiles and processing

10 Identification of sizing agents and dyestuffs by chemical methods, instrumental methods in dyestuffs analyses.
