Course Objective

This course intends to equip students with basic knowledge and skills to solve computational poblems in the field of Bioinformatics.

1   Define Cell, DNA, RNA, Protein, Transcription and other basic biological concepts of bioinformatics
2   Use pairwise and multiple sequence alignment algorithms
3   Apply Dynamic Programming,
4   Perform microarray data analysis
5   Define learning algorithms for Bioinformatics
