Course Objective

To provide fundamental design principles of heat exchangers, exchanger selection and rating.

1   Ability to understand work principles of heat exchangers.
2   Ability to calculate overall heat transfer coefficient.
3   Ability to use the effectiveness-NTU method in design.
4   Ability to understand maintenance of the heat exchangers
